Refund and Credit Policy

Title Search PR – estudiodetitulo.net

Article 1 — About the Service

Section 1.1 — What We Offer

Title Search PR provides title search and technical analysis services for properties, using information from the Puerto Rico Property Registry and other official sources. This service is digital, personalized, and professional, and therefore cannot be considered a physical product subject to return.

Section 1.2 — When the Work Begins

The service begins as soon as the client submits the request, since an analysis process, data validation, and, in many cases, additional steps such as specialized searches or certification requests are initiated. For this reason, the client acknowledges that the value of the service is generated from the beginning, even though the final report has not yet been delivered.

Article 2 — No Refunds

Section 2.1 — General Rule

All payments made are final and non-refundable once the service has been requested and processed by the company.

Section 2.2 — Why No Refunds Are Issued

The service involves the use of professional time, access to specialized systems, technical analysis, and, in many cases, the generation of expenses related to certifications or official documents. Due to this nature, the work performed cannot be reversed or reused, making a refund impossible once the process has begun.

Section 2.3 — Client Acceptance

By making the payment, the client expressly accepts that no cash refunds will be issued and that the service has value from the moment its processing begins, regardless of the final result of the study.

Article 3 — Credits (if applicable)

Section 3.1 — Alternative to a Refund

In certain circumstances, the company may, at its sole discretion, offer an internal credit as an alternative to a refund, in order to maintain a reasonable business solution.

Section 3.2 — Credit Conditions

Any credit granted will be for the exclusive use of Estudio de Título PR, will have a validity period determined by the company, and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash under any circumstances.

Section 3.3 — Non-Mandatory Nature

The client acknowledges that the granting of credit is not an automatic right, but rather a discretionary power of the company, which will evaluate each case individually.

Article 4 — Credit Evaluation

Section 4.1 — Factors Considered

To determine the possible issuance of a credit, the company will evaluate the level of work performed, the time invested, the resources used, and the stage the service is at at the time of the request.

Section 4.2 — General Scenarios

Generally speaking, if the service has not yet been worked on, a larger credit may be considered. If the process has already begun, the credit will be partial or limited. If the service is well underway or completed, no credit will apply.

Section 4.3 — Non-Recoverable Expenses

Any expenses incurred by the company, including certifications, searches, or external arrangements, will not be reimbursed or credited, as they constitute an actual cost associated with the service.

Article 5 — Cancellations

Section 5.1 — Procedure

Cancellation requests must be made in writing through the company's official communication channels.

Section 5.2 — Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation of a service does not imply an automatic refund, as the work process may have already begun when the request was received.

Section 5.3 — Individual Evaluation

Each cancellation request will be evaluated individually, and there is no guarantee of a refund or credit.

Article 6 — Service Completion

Section 6.1 — Definition

The service will be considered complete once the report has been sent by email, published on the client portal, or made available to the client through any official means.

Section 6.2 — Consequences

Once the service is completed, no refunds, credits, or claims for dissatisfaction with the report's content will be accepted.

Article 7 — Client Information

Section 7.1 — Responsibility

The client is responsible for providing correct, complete, and accurate information for the study.

Section 7.2 — Cases Without Credit

No credits or refunds will be granted when the information provided is incorrect, when the wrong property has been requested, or when the data supplied is insufficient to conduct the investigation.

Section 7.3 — New Application

In these cases, a new application and payment will be required to process the service correctly.

Article 8 — Additional Expenses

Section 8.1 — Nature of Expenses

Expenses may arise during the process.
